Our Story

We arrived in PNG in 2015 and begin working at Goroka Baptist Bible College. The Lord opened the doors for us to church plant at Sagifa among the Benabena people. After several years of preaching, we have had more open doors in Bena to teach God’s word. Tim is currently serving the Academic Vice President at the Bible College and Leandra is teaching. We are church planting in Keisusaro along with preaching in Kapagu, Hapatoga, and Bible clubs in the public schools.

Leandra and I both started deputation as single missionaries headed to do Church planting and Bible translation work in Papua New Guinea. November of 2013 God miraculously brought us into each other’s lives. It all started with a missionary family saying to me, “We know the most wonderful single missionary lady; you need to meet her!” The Lord knit our hearts together as we got to know each other. On May 24th 2014 we were married and are now blessed with two children. It is such a joy to serve our God as a family in ministry.

We were both saved at an early age. I asked Jesus Christ to be my Savior just prior to my fourth birthday, and Leandra asked Jesus to be her Savior when she was seven. Knowing Christ at an early age means everything. Our lives have been transformed by the power of the gospel!

I graduated from The Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, Tennessee with an undergraduate degree in Pastoral ministry and a Masters in missionary Linguistics. Leandra graduated from Pensacola Christian College with an undergraduate degree in Missions with a minor in Biblical Languages and completed Linguistic training at Bible Baptist Translators School in Bowie, Texas.

There is an intense spiritual battle raging in PNG as satanic strongholds that have stood for centuries are being demolished. We deeply appreciate the prayers and support of God’s people. God and God alone is able to break the power of the devil. We know without a shadow of a doubt that human strength is no match for the devil.
