MISSION BOARD

MISSION BOARD

During my five month stay in Papua New Guinea I did not go with a mission board as I was sent out by my home church. I did, however, see the great value of a mission board to provide accountability and leadership. While I was in PNG I tried to learn about different boards in the country and find God’s will for me.

I worked extensively with Goroka Baptist Bible College, a ministry of ABWE, and during this time God called me to serve with this ministry. Upon my return I began the application process with ABWE. June 1st I had my ordination exam in conjunction with the oral exam for ABWE. Sunday, June 2nd was my ordination service at Temple Bible Church (my sending church). I attended candidate school July 12th – July 19th which culminated in the missionary appointee ceremony. At that time I officially became a missionary of ABWE.
